Carve Runes

Carve Runes are now focused on clean orange stat progression. Powers have been removed from both Weapon and Armour Carve Runes, so every upgrade is about building better stat lines for your equipment.

Current Rule

No Powers

Weapon and Armour Carve Rune powers no longer exist. Upgrades only roll orange effects.

Use the Carve Rune NPC in the Tattoo & Rune Map in NosVille, or use Rune of Fortune scrolls while upgrading.

Equipment Scope

C90 Materials

The new carve material flow applies to C90 equipment. C70 and C80 equipment still use the old carve materials.

How to Upgrade

Basic Upgrade

Upgrade your rune at the Carve Rune NPC. Each successful upgrade increases the rune level and can improve or add orange effects.

Rune of Fortune Scroll

Prevents the weapon or armour from being damaged while upgrading.

Premium Rune of Fortune Scroll

Prevents damage and adds an extra 2% success chance while upgrading.

New Material Sources

Caligor Path

Frog Materials

Frog Skull and Frog Leg can be obtained from World Boss Carve Boxes and Caligor's Help Chest. Caligor's Help Chest is a participation reward and contains 3x Frog Skull and 3x Frog Leg.

Pollutus Path

C90 Materials

Giant Rock and Pollutus Lost Teeth can be obtained from World Boss Carve Boxes and Pollutus Raid Box.

World Boss Reward Boxes

Triple Arma rewards the main Arma chest, while Grenigas and Volcano world bosses now use the new World Boss reward boxes. Volcano mini bosses also have their own chest.

Special stat rule: Special stats can only appear at rune levels 3, 6, 9, 12, 15, 18, and 21. A single rune can have a maximum of 2 special stats.

Important: Your item must have two different special stats. For example, if you obtain the All Attack effect at 3/21, you cannot obtain All Attack again at 6/21 by using a Revert Rune. The 6/21 roll must provide a second special stat.
